Report: Gambling probe launched into Iowa baseball after suspensions
The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission has launched an investigation into Iowa baseball after at least four players reportedly were suspended for a weekend series, the state panel told Action Network on Monday.
Iowa athletics said it "withheld some student-athletes from competition" in the Hawkeyes' series against Ohio State over the weekend over "a potential violation." The university did not elaborate.
