[Men's Bowling] Acosta Claims First Place for SXU Men's Bowling at Hoosier Classic

INDIANAPOLIS – Senior Alex Acosta (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) was the top individual performer out of 539 bowlers at the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic at Western Bowl in Indianapolis, Ind. this past weekend for the Saint Xavier University men's bowling team. Acosta knocked down 1,443 pins on Saturday, 44 more than the runner-up. In six games he posted an average of 240.5 pins and nearly bowled a 300 score in game two with 290 pins. It is the second time this season that Acosta has taken home first place honors, he won the Ebonite Warhawk Open with 1,379 pins on December 3.
