[Women's Wrestling] Walker Named KCAC Women's Wrestler of the Week

WICHITA, Kan. – Esther Walker of No. 17-ranked Midland University has been named the KCAC Women's Wrestler of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. She was selected for her performances from February 6-12 by a vote of conference sports information directors.
Walker, a senior from El Paso, Texas, won the Warrior Open on Sunday going a perfect 4-0. She had a pair of 10-0 tech fall wins, a pin in under a minute, and won a 10-8 decision over the No. 8-ranked wrestler in the 101 lbs. division in the NAIA.
