[Women's Cross Country] Delgado Shines for SXU Women's Cross Country at Twilight Invite

Channahon, Ill. – Senior Delilah Delgado (East Chicago, Ind/Calumet St. Joseph/East Chicago Central) was the leading runner for the Saint Xavier University women's cross country team at the St. Francis (Ill.) Twilight Invitational Friday evening at the Channahon Community Park in Channahon, Ill. She was 33rd overall out of 77 runners with a time of 21:17.9 in the 3.1mile race, her best time as a Cougar. The Cougars placed 5th out of nine teams in the event. University of Chicago (Ill.) placed first as a team and had the top individual runner, Lucy Groothuis, who ran a mark of 17:51.8.
