On May 23rd, 1995, Mariano Rivera made his Major League debut for the Yankees. The ‘Sandman’ would go down as the most dominant closer the sport of baseball has ever seen, culminating with five World Series championships and being the first (and still only) unanimous selection to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
