[Baseball] UAV Tops ONU, Extends Postseason
Riding a strong outing from starter Andrew Garcia, Antelope Valley kept its postseason season going with a 4-1 win over #4 Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) on the second day of the Opening Round Santa Barbara Bracket of the 2022 NAIA World Series in Santa Barbara, Calif. With the victory, UAV, the #4 seed in the bracket, advances to Day 3 of the tournament where the Pioneers (38-12) will meet the loser of the late game between #2 IU-Southeast (Ind.) and #1 Westmont. The game is scheduled to start at 11:00 am and is an elimination game.
