[Baseball] UBC Runs Past USK in Opening Round

Saint Katherine ran into a hot offensive team in the Opening Round of the 2022 NAIA Baseball World Series tournament, falling to British Columbia 15-2 in Lewiston, Ida.  The Firebirds, seeded #5 in the Lewiston Bracket, scored first and kept the game within reach until the #4 Thunderbirds blew the game open with an eight-run 7th inning.  With the loss, USK will play an elimination game tomorrow, May 17, against #2 Vanguard, which was upset by #3 Doane (Neb.) in the second Opening Round game of the day.
