[Baseball] Saint Xavier Baseball Drops Road Game to TIU, 6-4

Wheeling, Ill. – Junior infielder Declan Smyth (Evergreen Park, Ill./North Central/Evergreen Park) finished 2-for-3 with two RBI's, a stolen base, a run scored and a walk, however the Saint Xavier University baseball team (30-10, 13-5 CCAC) lost to Trinity International University (Ill.) in game one of their three game Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) series Friday afternoon at Heritage Park in Wheeling, Ill. Freshman pitcher Logan McCleery took the loss (7-2) after working 4.0 innings and allowing eight hits, six runs, two walks and four strikeouts.
