[Women's Basketball] Hot Start Pushes Eagles Past Spires on Senior Day

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With a great crowd on hand inside Mabee Fieldhouse to honor the team's seven seniors, Avila women's basketball (17-8, 15-6 KCAC) started off the game scorching hot before closing the game strong to fend off a push from Saint Mary (7-18, 4-16 KCAC) to cruise to a 78-59 win on Saturday afternoon.
