[Men's Volleyball] No. 10 SXU drops road match to Concordia, 3-1

Irvine, Calif. – Sophomore opposite hitter Shane Ooms (Shorewood, Ill./Minooka Community) recorded a match-high 16 kills, however No. 10 Saint Xavier University men's volleyball (1-1, 0-0 CCAC) lost NCAA Division II Concordia University Irvine 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 19-25, 22-25) in non-conference action Tuessday evening at the CU Arena in Irvine, Calif. Ooms added six digs, two assists, one solo block and one service aces. Both teams played well, with CUI posting a team attack percentage of .306 (51-14-121) and SXU posting an attack percentage of .265 (49-19-113).
