[Football] King named MSFA Offensive Player of the Week

Kaden King was named the Mid-States Football Association Midwest League Offensive Player of the Week today after providing a spark for St. Ambrose in a 35-23 win at Missouri Baptist Saturday.

The freshman running back from Fairbury, Ill., ran for 140 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries in the win. His first score came on a 58-yard run to give the Bees a 7-6 lead in the first quarter. He tacked on two second-half touchdowns, on runs of four and six yards, to help SAU pull away.

This season, King rushed for 303 yards and seven touchdowns.
