[Baseball] The End of an Era; Yacinich Set to Retire in Spring of 2022

Des Moines, IA – After 48 seasons, 1,199 victories, and countless hours dedicated to the Grand View baseball program, Head Coach Lou Yacinich will coach his last season in the Spring of 2022. A decorated member of the Grand View Athletics community, Yacinich has been inducted into a number of Hall of Fames; the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame, Des Moines East High School Athletic Hall of Fame, the NAIA Baseball Hall of Fame, Grand View Athletic Hall of Fame, ABCA National Hall of Fame, and he has also received the NAIA Robert E. Smith Award
