[Men's Cross Country] Alvarez & SXU Men's Cross Country post Top 5 finishes

Grand Rapids, Mich. – Senior David Alvarez (Orland Park, Ill./Moraine Valley/Sandburg) placed fourth overall out of a field of 263 runners and set a new personal record (PR) with a time of 26:10.5 for the Saint Xavier University men's cross country team at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge Saturday morning at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, Mich., hosted by Aquinas College (Mich.). As a team, the Cougars had their second Top 5 finishes, placing fourth out of 30 teams in the White Race. SXU also had a fourth-place finish at the St. Francis Twilight on September 3.
