BECKLEY, W.Va. - The University of Rio Grande jumped to an early first half lead and made it stand up late, posting a 2-1 win over West Virginia University-Tech, Saturday evening, in River States Conference women's soccer action at the YMCA/Paul Cline Soccer Complex.
Rio Grande, which won for a third consecutive time, upped its record to 3-5-1 overall and 3-1 in league play.
WVU-Tech dropped to 3-7 overall and 1-4 in the RSC.
