[Softball] Ramirez and Wood Earn CoSIDA Softball Academic All-America Team Honors
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Annabelle Ramirez was named to the CoSIDA Softball Academic All-America First Team while Cumberlands' (Ky.) Hailey Wood earned second team honors, the national organization announced Monday.
Ramirez was a First Team NAIA All-American and the Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Year this season. She led the MSC in earned run average (1.11) and in strikeouts with 306. Opponents batted just .127 off Ramirez which ranked third in the NAIA. She graduated with a 3.47 grade point average majoring in Mathematics.
