BOWLING GREEN, Ky. The No. 12 Olivet Nazarene University softball team faced the Tigers of Campbellsville University, on Wednesday afternoon, in the Championship in the Opening Round of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Softball World Series at Michael O. Buchanon Field. 

Olivet Nazarene defeated the Tigers of Campbellsville, 7-4, to punch its ticket to the 2021 NAIA Softball World Series. This is the first time since 2014 that the Tigers are going to the World Series.  In 2014, current head coach Hannah Gardner was a senior on the team.
