[Men's Basketball] Saints Fall on Road

Chicago, Ill. The Holy Cross College men's basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this afternoon when they travelled to St. Xavier University. After shoot 65% from the field in the first half, the Saints took a 40-38 halftime lead. Holy Cross struggled to get stop in the second half and allowed the Cougars to score 40 points, as they would defeat the Saints 78-67. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at 11-5 overall and 6-3 in league play, while St. Xavier falls to 8-7 and 8-3.
