Strong pitching leads Softball to doubleheader shutout of Pikeville
COLUMBIA, Ky. -- On March 29, 2019, Hannah Epperson and Annabelle Ramirez each hurled complete-game shutouts to sweep Pikeville (Ky.) at Marilyn D. Sparks Park.
Epperson allowed just one hit over five scoreless innings to improve to 7-1 on the season in the 8-0, five-inning opener. Ramirez secured the sweep by striking out 16 Bears and allowing just two hits in a 5-0 win to improve to 7-0 on the season.
