[Softball] Wave extinguish Fire in opener; Falls 1-0 in nightcap

LAKELAND, Fla. – Head Coach Dave Lopez put together arguably the toughest non-conference schedule of any school in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference for his Calumet College of St. Joseph softball team. The idea being that you challenge the team early to see what they are capable of and then return home ready for the games that really matter. The Wave showed their abilities today, coming away with a split against a perennially strong Southeastern University (Fla.) team.
