NORTH NEWTON, Kan. -- For the third straight game, Avila found itself tied at the end of 40 minutes of regulation basketball against Bethel on Saturday afternoon. And despite holding tight for the first two minutes of the added stanza, Avila (14-11, 14-8 KCAC) found itself on the short end of the result, falling 84-79 to Bethel (14-14, 10-12 KCAC). Taylor Faukner led the Eagle offense with 23 on the night.
