KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Although the cold weather pushed the weekend's schedule around quite a bit on Avila, the Eagles made the most of their time at the Rube Foster Classic, taking home a pair of wins in neutral site action. Justin Loman recorded five strikeouts and a complete game as Avila picked up a 3-2 win over Briar Cliff (1-2), and a four-run sixth-inning outburst gave the Eagles (3-5) a 10-8 win over Harris-Stowe State University (9-9).
