[Softball] Complete Game By McKinney Paces Avila To Opening Day Sweep of (RV) Central Methodist

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After seeing its original opening weekend plans scrapped, Avila Softball tried to salvage the weekend by booking a home doubleheader against (RV) Central Methodist University. The schedule change proved fruitful, as Avila (2-0) took both ends of the doubleheader, winning the opener 10-2 in five innings and outlasting CMU (0-2) 6-5 in eight innings in the nightcap.
