[Men's Basketball] Men Basketball's upset bid falls short against No. 1 Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team pulled within two points midway through the second half but would fall short in their upset bid against No. 1-ranked Georgetown 97-81 at the Davis-Reed Alumni Gym.

Six Blue Raiders (14-8, 3-5 MSC) finished the game in double figures as Reece Brooks led the way with 18 points and seven assists. Payton Cundiff finished with 16 as Matthew Eldridge just missed out on a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Malik Hart had 12 points, Avery Edwards had 11 and Kel Stotts managed 10.
