KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After a first half that saw the teams combine for 25 turnovers - 15 unforced - Avila (11-6, 11-3 KCAC) cleaned up and ran away in the second half, picking up its fifth-straight win with a 55-35 result over Southwestern (9-10, 6-9 KCAC) on Monday.
