[Women's Basketball] Torrid Second Half Powers Avila To 65-50 Win Over Bethel

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After managing just five points in the first quarter, the Avila women's basketball team shook off the New Year's hangover and cruised to a 65-50 win over Bethel College (7-9, 3-7 KCAC) on Saturday afternoon. Paige Bunn led the (RV) Eagles (7-6, 7-3 KCAC) with 16 points in the contest after a perfect shooting (5-5 FG, 3-3 FT) second half.
