HILLSBORO, Kan. -- After its first seven games were highlighted by big scoring outputs, Avila proved that it could win a low-scoring battle as well, holding off Tabor College for a 19-14 win on Saturday. The Eagles scored back-to-back fourth-quarter touchdowns to complete the comeback before Eric Singleton broke up a last-second hail mary from the Bluejays to preserve the win.
