It was not his best start, but maybe his most telling. Bassitt did not have great stuff today, but he still managed a quality start against, arguably, the best lineup in baseball. Pretty impressive. Witnessing his evolution this year has been fun. With Montas coming back and healthy lefties (Manaea, Puk & Luzardo), it’s fun to think about the future. Though right now, I’m pretty damn satisfied.
