[Women's Golf] UHV's Cano tied for fourth at Texas Women's Open

GARLAND – University of Houston-Victoria golf coach Christi Cano shook of some early trouble Sunday and finds herself in a tie for fourth place after the opening round of the Texas Women's Open at the Bridges of Firewheel.

With bogeys on holes four and five, Cano quickly found herself at two over par after just five holes. But the third year UHV head coach quickly shook off the setback and birded her next three holes en route to a 3-under par 69.
