[Men's Golf] Lake, Coy give spark to Jaguars at PGA event

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – University of Houston-Victoria's Benjamin Lake (SO/Victoria, TX) started off slow but once he got rolling found himself in the individual lead after the opening round of the 33rd annual PGA Works Collegiate Championships at the PGA of America.

Lake bogeyed two of his first four holes, but following a birdie at the par-4 14th hole, went on a roll finishing at two-under par 70 for a three shot advantage after the first round of the 54-hole event. Lake had four birdies, and eagle and four bogeys in his round on the par-72 Wanamaker Course.
