[Men's Golf] Winkelmann captures top spot at ONU Spring Invite; Tigers finish first

KANKAKEE, Ill. –  Leading from start to finish, Matt Winkelmann (SR/Wheaton, Ill.) claimed top medalist honors at the ONU Spring Invite on April 19-20. The two day event, held at the Kankakee Elks Country Club, proved to be a little challenging at the wind gusts kept play interesting. Winkelmann shot one-over 73 to kick off the tournament and followed it up with a four-over 76 to finish two strokes ahead of teammate Levi Hanegraaf (FR/Crete, Ill. ). ONU had three golfers finish in the top five and five in the top 13.
