[Women's Outdoor Track & Field] Davis makes a statement at first outdoor meet of the season
MARIAN, Ind. – Winning the NAIA Indoor Shot Put title wasn't enough for Olivet Nazarene University's Kylie Davis (SR/Eureka, IL). Davis proved on Saturday, March 23 at the Polar Bear Open that she intended to leave her mark on the outdoor national championships too. Davis recorded the top mark to date in the NAIA in the discus (45.19m) and the second best mark to date in the shot put (13.73m) in the Tiger's first meet outside, both automatic qualification marks. Lynette Latocha (FR/Oak Forest, IL) added a provisional qualification in the high jump (1.64m).
