[Men's Basketball] SAC Player of Week Goes to Throns from Wayland Baptist

OKLAHOMA CITY – Wayland Baptist's Josh Throns collected Sooner Athletic Conference men's basketball player of the week.

Throns, a senior guard from Perth, Australia, provided the Pioneers with 19.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game while shooting 57.1 percent from the field and 50 percent from 3-point range during the week of Feb. 11-17. Wayland Baptist secured its first SAC regular-season title.
