[Softball] ONU head south to NAIA Kickoff Classic

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Olivet Nazarene University softball team headed south, playing six games in three days at the NAIA Kickoff Classic in Winter Haven, Florida. The Tigers connected for their first home runs of the season, two off of the bat of Emily Carstens (SR/Peotone, Ill.) and a grand slam from Makenna Emerson (JR/Coal City, Ill.). The weekend also included two extra-inning games, going eight with both Mount Mercy University (Iowa) and No. 22 Southeastern University (Fla.).
