[Women's Basketball] Shannon from Mid-America Christian Picks Up SAC Player of Week

OKLAHOMA CITY – Alexis Shannon of Mid-America Christian secured Sooner Athletic Conference women's basketball player of the week for the second time this season.

Shannon, a junior forward from Noblesville, Ind., provided the Evangels with 26 points, 12 rebounds and two steals in a 76-65 victory over Southwestern Christian on Saturday at the Gaulke Activity Center in Oklahoma City during the week of Dec. 31-Jan. 6.
