[Women's Soccer] Avery's Goal Lifts Saints Into WHAC Championship

The first goal of the season scored by Aquinas defender Grace Avery (FR/Caledonia, Mich.) was a crucial one, as Avery's tally was the only goal in Saturday's (Nov. 3) WHAC semifinal contest at the AQ Athletic Field. Her goal at the 70:54 mark of the semifinal gave AQ a 1-0 lead and the home Saints would hold on in the final minutes for the dramatic victory.
