[Men's Soccer] Alvarez of TXWES, USAO's Merkel Named SAC Players of Week

OKLAHOMA CITY – Texas Wesleyan's Diego Alvarez snagged Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer offensive player of the week, while Daniel Merkel of Science & Arts of Oklahoma took the defensive player of the week.

Alvarez, a freshman forward from Katy, Texas, and Merkel, a junior goalkeeper from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, became first-time honorees by the conference.
