Power drop middle game 3-1 to Augusta
Ryan Peurifoy homered for the second straight game, but that was all the offense West Virginia could muster as they fell 3-1 to the Augusta GreenJackets on Wednesday evening at Appalachian Power Park. With the Power trailing 2-0 in the second, Peurifoy stroked his solo shot in his first at-bat of the game to bring the score to 2-1. That blast made Peurifoy the fourth West Virginia (14-12) player to homer in consecutive games in 2018.
