SUWANEE, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team fired a team total 340 during the opening round of the University of Northwestern Ohio Spring Invitational held at Bear's Best Atlanta course on Monday.

The No. 21-ranked Blue Raiders shot 52-over par in the first round of the event to sit in third place in the team standings. No. 6 Cumberlands (Ky.) leads the 10-team tournament after a 27-over par 315. Tennessee Wesleyan is second at 332, while No. 9-ranked Northwestern Ohio and No. 20 Loyola-New Orleans (La.) are tied for fourth after 342s.
