PARKVILLE, Mo – Connor Whitney's two-run double in the bottom of the eighth split a 2-all tie and Damian Vela came on in the ninth to pick up his first save as a Pirate, as the Park University put a stop to a three-game skid with a  4-2 win Monday over the University of Saint Mary at Comfort Field.
