[Baseball] Dubin strikes out 14 in win over Madonna

Shawn Dubin was magnificent in a pitchers' duel Friday and the Georgetown College baseball offense scored when the opportunities presented themselves in a 2-0 win over Madonna University. The senior pitcher struck out 14, running his season total to 55, as he picked up his fifth win and third complete game.

He went nine innings, scattering three hits with no runs against a Crusader team (18-6) which has scored 167 runs coming into the game.

The two will square off Saturday in a doubleheader, first pitch is set for 1 pm at Robert N. Wilson Field.
