[Softball] Lyon Splits First Day at Gulf Shores Invite

GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Lyon College softball team played two games on the first day of the Gulf Shores Invitational and split the doubleheader, falling 3-0 to Avila University before defeating Culver-Stockton College, 4-2. The loss to Avila was the team's first of the season, but the Scots rebounded afterwards with a two-run victory over the Wildcats.

With the split, the Scots are now 14-1 on the season.
