[Softball] Softball ranked No. 8 in NAIA Coaches' Preseason Top-25 Poll
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson softball team opens up the 2018 season ranked No. 8 in the NAIA Preseason Coaches' Top-25 Poll, the national office released Tuesday.
The Blue Raiders received 379 points in the poll and have made 53 consecutive appearances which is the third longest streak in the NAIA . Last season, Lindsey Wilson won the MSC regular season title with a 21-1 Mid-South Conference record and an overall record of 39-13. The Blue Raiders made their fifth consecutive appearance in the NAIA Opening Round in 2017.
