[Women's Basketball] Saints Fall 62-60 on Concordia's Last-Second Bucket

The Aquinas women's basketball team held a nine-point advantage midway through the fourth quarter in Saturday's (Jan. 6) road contest at Concordia, but the Saints were unable to sustain that cushion, as the Cardinals ended up prevailing on their home court, 62-60. The score was tied at 60-all after a Michaela Faber (JR/Grand Rapids, Michigan) shot with 28 seconds remaining, but CUAA responded by scoring the game-winning basket in the final seconds.
