For the second game in a row, Connor Griffin recorded a team-high 23 points on 12-for-15 shooting. Just behind Griffin was Donte Williams with 18 points and Mario Soto who posted 14. Jamaal Lee also made a significant contribution with 13 points and nine rebounds. With the win, Vanguard improves to 9-5 while Evangel drops to 3-10.
