Hello Good People of Athletics Nation

I have plans to move to Northern California next year. As a lifelong Mets fan, I am choosing to end the masochism, and am now taking submissions for new MLB team fandom. I'm even considering switching to the evil DH league!

Now it seems that the A's will not be good next year. The farm system looks to be better than their rivals across the Bay, but the MLB team may fare just as poorly. So what's there to look forward to as an A's fan? Short term goals? Long term goals? New stadium sites?
