The Reds’ young rotation moves forward as they start a new series in St. Louis. Bob Steve gets the ball tonight, coming off of 4 straight wins (two of those being quality starts). He’s only faced the Cards one other time this season, and that was in a long relief role.
He’ll face Lance Lynn, who after missing all of last season with injury, has been rock solid and one of the Cardinals’ best pitchers.
