Ducks and Baysox split doubleheader, 6-1, 5-2
Michael Peoples quieted the Bowie bats with six strong innings as Akron won the first of two games, 6-1. Outfielder Cedric Mullins was 3-4 with an RBI and D.J. Stewart belted a two-run home run to propel Bowie, 5-2, to split the doubleheader Sunday afternoon at Canal Park.
