Sign Pro Named Title Sponsor for $20,000 SK Modified Triple Crown
(Stafford Springs, CT)— Stafford Motor Speedway has announced that Sign Pro will serve as the title sponsor of the SK Modified® Triple Crown for the 2026 season. The popular Triple Crown will continue with the same three-race format that has helped make it one of the most anticipated storylines on the Stafford calendar.
A key feature of the Triple Crown will remain in place for 2026: all three Triple Crown events will be run as non-handicap races, with starting lineups set using the +/- qualifying method rather than Stafford’s weekly handicapping system.
2026 Sign Pro Triple Crown Events
June 5th – Casella Waste SK Modified 80
July 24th – Call Before You Dig Senators Cup 50
August 7th – NAPA Auto Parts SK 5K 100
“We’re very excited to have Pete and the Sign Pro team as partners at Stafford,” said Stafford Motor Speedway General Manager David Arute. “Their commitment to professionalism as well as the community shows in their impressive growth over the last 35 years. They’re racers at heart and understand what this place means to the teams and the fans. We’re proud to have them a part of the Stafford family.”
The SK Modified® Triple Crown has become a challenge for Stafford’s top division, rewarding consistency and excellence across three marquee events. In 2025, the Triple Crown delivered competitive racing from start to finish, and Mikey Flynn emerged as the 2025 SK Modified® Triple Crown champion.
Beyond the spotlight at the front, the Triple Crown has also been a meaningful program for teams throughout the field. In 2025, every driver who competed in all three Triple Crown events received nearly $1,000 each in program benefits and support—reinforcing Stafford’s commitment to keeping the SK Modified® division strong.
“We love motorsports throughout New England and we’ve been involved in racing since the ‘80’s,” said Pete Rappocio of Sign Pro. “We love seeing Stafford Speedway with Mark, Lisa, Paul, and David Arute and how important it is. Sign-Pro runs a very synchronized detail based type of business and because of that, and I see the same thing with the Arute family, if you’re going to support something, you may as well support something that is executed very respectfully and the Arute family does a great job of that.”
Sign Pro’s history in motorsports run deep, not only supporting drivers over the years but even sharing a shop with some racing legends.
“Sign Pro was founded in 1990 and I started the business in my bedroom at my parents’ home,” continued Pete. “Racing has been part of our story from day one lettering Modifieds, working around the Zipadelli shop, and supporting teams and drivers as we grew. Over time that expanded into corporate programs and long-term relationships with brands, including Hooters of America and Planet Fitness, along with motorsports partnerships like Tic Tac and Coors Extra Gold. When the Arutes reached out about Stafford, it was an easy yes. It’s a great venue, and what makes these races special is how tight and technical the competition is, every lap matters.”
