PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix has announced the return of Electric Avenue powered by King Electric, at Schenley Park race weekend, July 19 and 20. “Electric Avenue shines the light on some of the latest advancements in the automotive industry and Electric Vehicles,” said Dan DelBianco, PVGP Executive Director. “The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is a celebration of all aspects of the automotive industry, including EVs. To partner with someone like King Electric on this show, who offers in-home charging solutions for EV owners, is a great fit for us,” DelBianco concluded.

Electric Avenue is among the newest additions to the field at the PVGP International Car Show, which features over 2,500 cars from manufacturers worldwide.

“King Electric is proud to return for its third consecutive year as a partner of Electric Avenue. For over 40 years, King Electric and the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix have grown alongside one another, united by a shared passion for excellence and innovation,” said Justin King, owner of King Electric. The Grand Prix continues to showcase the finest classic cars from near and far. With the addition of Electric Avenue, the event now highlights how the auto industry is evolving to meet the needs of an expanding client base. “At King Electric, we’re committed to bridging the gap between old and new—not only in your home, through our King’s Standard approach to safest and highest-quality electrical work, but also in the automotive world,” King continued.

King Electric invites PVGP attendees to join them at Electric Avenue to see how they are transforming a 1971 Ford F-100 into a cutting-edge EV powerhouse. The 2025 Electric Avenue show can be found near the Bob O’Connor Golf Course Clubhouse, beside the Cars N Coffee show. DETAILS

Representatives from Tesla will also be on hand, offering Ride & Drives to eligible spectators.
