VIDEO: Super GT GT300 Sprint Cup At Fuji

During the Super GT x DTM Dream Race weekend at Fuji Speedway, the event was supported by the auto sport Web Sprint Cup, two 50-minute sprint races featuring a small collection of FIA GT3, JAF-GT300, and JAF-GT Mother Chassis vehicles from Super GT, Super Taikyu, and the Suzuka 10 Hours.

Neither race was broadcast live outside of Japan (in fact the race reports for both races used info from only the live timing app and real-time social media updates), though both sprint races produced some pretty solid action including two come-from-behind victories, unexpected race leaders, and appearances from a number of top drivers – including young Ritomo Miyata and Ukyo Sasahara, both of whom are in line for GT500 drives in 2020!
